Understanding how to translate this information into a 3D piping model within SP3D.Piping Codes and Standards: Knowledge of industry standards and codes related to piping design, such as ASME B31.3 (Process Piping), ASME B31.1 (Power Piping), ASME B31.4 (Pipeline Transportation Systems for Liquid Hydrocarbons and Other Liquids), and relevant API standards.Pipe Routing and Layout: Proficiency in routing pipes within the 3D model, considering factors such as process requirements, equipment locations, access for maintenance, and safety considerations. Understanding of pipe supports and their selection based on loads and piping specifications.Equipment Integration: Ability to integrate piping with other plant equipment, such as pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and vessels.
