My name is FAYSAL AHMED. I have done my BBA & MBA (Major in Operations & Supply Chain Management) from American International University Bangladesh accordingly in 2014 & 2017. In 2014, I started my job career as a Logistics & Admin Officer from Central Transport Company in Chittagong. My responsibility was to monitor stock levels and overseeing the movement of incoming and outgoing goods and distribute the Monthly salary to all labor's. In 2016, I joined as a Supply Chain Officer in Globex Marketing Company Ltd. Basically It was a Trading House & they provide pure supply chain facility of surgical & medical instruments in terms of various multinational company like 3M International, Alcon Pharmaceutical & Novertis Product. My Major activities was in there is to monitor & control the whole companies local procurement activities & demand forecasting & documentation for Foreign Procurement. Regular monitoring of safety stock & physical stock & pipeline activities & on time distribution of customers desired goods and all types of work regarding banking & customs related task of foreign Procurement and also involved in updating task of received warehouse inventory to ERP Oracle software.After that in 2018, I joined as a Foreign Procurement Officer in Partex Star Group. Basically, I was involved in there for Food related ingredients & machinery foreign purchase. My major task was Foreign Procurement documentation like PR collection, checking physical stock, demand forecast, vendor sourcing, price quotation, CS chart creation & finalized supplier, Finalize sales contract by department head, create PO, collect PI from exporter, Insurance opening & L/C form filling & collect L/C draft from bank, ask to bank to transmit the L/C draft copy if no error found, do the amendment if required, collect the shipping documents from exporter & endorse all the documents from Bank and submit it to the CNF as they can discharge the goods from customs without any delay. Bill of entry processing. Collect CNF Bill & process the bill & submit it to the accounts for further processing. Moreover, I was involved in obtaining and renewal of all types of licenses (e.g. ERC, IRC, Trade License, TIN, VAT and Fire License)Personally, I am highly interested in Interior designing & website designing and also good at handling any kind software smoothly. My career mission is to gather the vast knowledge on SOP of sourcing, procurement, warehouse & distribution & Logistics management within next one year and My vision is to build up myself as a head of supply chain within next 4 years.
