I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. (BACP) I am a person-centred counsellor with a wide range of experience from working with young people in college setting to working in an organisation supporting women. I have over 10 years experience caring and supporting others, from numerous roles. I have an interest in perinatal mental health, domestic abuse and anxiety and depression.I have recent experience of working as a mentor with people aged 18-24 who require in-depth support to improve their social skills, self-esteem, confidence and leading them towards opportunities in education training and employment. By working with young people, parents and carers and jointly outlining our aims the task of moving young people towards positive destinations can be rewarding. I have worked in Community, School and College settings to support young people and am aware of safeguarding and the benefits of working individually and with key partners. My current part-time evening counselling studies will also assist my career development.
