Working at Honest Communications involves combining a number of passions of mine - gardening, sustainability and, of course, PR and comms. Working with a range of clients on all aspects of their accounts, I take pride in delivering results and exceeding expectations

Embracing the world of freelancing, I was mainly working with the wonderful people at Honest Communications and their great clients from the home, garden and lifestyle sectors.

As an account manager at this well respected agency, which has a focus on health care and not-for-profit, I have been responsible for the management of relationships with clients, balancing their expectations with the execution of work, and leading client meetings, whilst managing and supporting account executives and interns. I combine creativity with knowledge of the media to recognise news angles and generate positive coverage, profile pieces and features across a broad media spectrum.

Working with a varied client portfolio, I was responsible for event coordination, including bar launches, client support at high profile events such as the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, and the creation and implementation of integrated, multi-platform PR campaigns. I worked across a range of sectors including construction, leisure and retail, and brought in new clients from the horticulture sector, developing and delivering successful new business proposals. I translated client business needs into communication strategies, thinking creatively whilst maintaining budgets.

I managed the accounts for clients including Forest Garden, Wilkinson Sword, Cub Cadet, WOLF-Garten, Town & Country, Lechuza and BASF, as well as a number of shopping arcades across the country, whilst providing support to many others. The role was multi-faceted and included planning and implementing impactful PR campaigns, providing event co-ordination and support, writing compelling press releases and providing press office support. I created new business opportunities, developing and delivering successful new business proposals.I was responsible for the management of relationships with clients, balancing their expectations with the execution of work, and leading client meetings.I created monthly status reports for each client, as well as in depth quarterly reports, to ensure that targets were being met.I combined creativity with knowledge of the media to recognise media angles and generate positive news coverage, profile pieces and features across a broad media spectrum.

As the Marketing Manager at Bildurn, I looked after all aspects of the internal and external marketing for the company, which included;• Building strong, successful relationships with occupiers and stakeholders• Developing networks with potential occupiers and the local community• Events Coordination• PR Coordination - including press releases• Social Media and Website content management; including blogging• Developing the ‘brand’ of Bildurn and delivering a consistent message to stakeholders, conveying our core brand values – including CSR, website design and newsletters• Main point of call for any of our smaller tenants – cultivating strong, working relationships to enable us to work pro-actively rather than re-actively.• Conducting detailed market research to ensure the success of future projects.• Encouraging an internal marketing environment within the Bildurn teamI also looked after the management of the Knight and Whitehall House Offices and Cobden Chambers Terraces. I Project Managed the Cobden Chambers development, which was delivered on time and on budget. I continued to then manage the relationship marketing of all tenants, and the website and social media platforms, as well as organising events to publicise the space. Further to this, I developed and delivered all of the marketing strategies and campaigns for Bildurn, including implementation and maintenance of social media platforms and websites for Bildurn and its off-shoots.
