I am passionate about advancing the field of nanoscience and its applications in various domains. I have a PhD in nano-environmental science from the University of Vienna, where I gained a strong theoretical and practical foundation in nanomaterials characterization and analysis in complex matrices.My research focuses on developing and applying innovative methods for separating, detecting, identifying, and quantifying nanomaterials and micro/nanoplastics in complex matrices, such as biological media, environmental samples, and consumer products. I also investigate the biological fate, biotransformation, interaction, and toxicity of nanoscale particulate materials in organisms and ecosystems. Additionally, I synthesize and test nano-pesticides and nano-nutrients for agricultural purposes. I have published multiple peer-reviewed articles and presented my findings at international conferences and workshops. I also enjoy teaching and mentoring students and junior researchers in nanoscience and related disciplines.
