Financial Accounting and Reporting:Prepare and analyze quarterly VAT reconciliations to ensure compliance with local tax regulations.Reconcile bank accounts regularly and investigate any discrepancies.Conduct supplier reconciliations, resolving any differences between Statements of Account (SOAs) and the general ledger.Prepare ICV (In-Country Value) certificates as required by local regulations.Assist with financial audits and reviews.Ensure timely and accurate booking of purchases into the accounting system.Allocate payments to respective purchase invoices and reconcile accounts payable.Allocate expenses to the appropriate cost centers or projects to facilitate accurate financial reporting.Trade Finance:Handle trade finance instruments, including Letters of Credit (LCs), Trust Receipts (TRs), Performance Bonds, Guarantees, and other related documents.Coordinate with banks and other financial institutions to ensure smooth execution of trade finance transactions.Manage risk associated with trade finance activities.Other Duties:Supervise and mentor junior accounting staffs.Review and approve the work of junior staffs.
