o Assisted the Co-PI, Dr. Aamir Saeed, in establishing a computer vision research group.o Contributed to the research and design of a deep learning-based pipeline for real-time detection and recognition of Urdu and Arabic text in news videos, aimed at developing a content-based video retrieval system.o Led team members in collecting, managing, and annotating massive news videos, resulting in the development of custom datasets for Urdu and Arabic text detection. Additionally, planned, modified, and executed research techniques and tests to advance the state of the art in Urdu and Arabic text detection and recognition.o Managed administrative tasks of the research group.o Assisted the Co-PI in planning new projects and drafting proposals for research grants, successfully securing a research grant for the group worth 10 Million PKR.
