Preparing an urban regeneration framework plan for a historic city in the kingdom of Bahrain, including facilitating a series of stakeholder engagements with local authorities and governmental bodies.

Managing a technical team in implementing urban rejuvenation programme within the UNESCO World Heritage Site, which includes conservation projects, public realm improvements and public participation programme on cultural assets. The projects include backlanes upgrading works within George Town, development of North Seafront Masterplan, conservation of Syed Al-Attas Mansion and Public Archaeological Programme at Fort Cornwallis. My key responsibilities consist of:- Support the development and implementation of urban regeneration projects and ensuring alignment with George Town Special Area Plan and the UNESCO's Outstanding Universal Values- Support the planning and implementation of Think City projects and programmes through partnership with Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC) and UNESCO- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, NGOs, local council and State government to ensure alignment in the vision and objectives of each project - Under the direction of the Programme Director, support colleagues working closely with the local council, NGOs, technical consultants, stakeholders other local organisations through community engagements and visioning workshops- Prepare the Development Framework and Area Plan for the East Waterfront Precinct and a vibrant market hub within the historic city - Monitor regional initiatives and best practice in urban renaissance to keep Think City’s thinking and work abreast of latest developments

Project managing Phase 2 of the revitalisation of Klang River in Kuala Lumpur (The River of Life) including preparation of Final Schematic Design and Tender documentation, reviewing architectural documents, coordination of workloads, and drawing up programme and schedules to meet deadlines

Assisting landscape architects with concept design, design development and construction documentation packages for various urban design projects. Projects include Melbourne Park Redevelopment, South Australia Youth Training Centre, Yarra River Biodiversity Project, Coburg Lake Reserve Signage, and Isabella William Memorial Reserve.

As part of the Conservation team, my roles include site inspection, assessment and documentation of building's existing conditions, scheduling maintenance works, design and documentation of repair and restoration works and preparation of measured drawings and contract administration. The list of projects includes: Royal Exhibition Building, Collingwood Town Hall, Ripponlea House's Roof Replacement, Melbourne University's Old Engineering Building, St Mary's Church and Scots Church.

As part of a small conservation and architecture practice, my roles include site measure up and preparation of measured drawings for heritage-listed buildings, design and documentation of on-going repair and restoration works, alteration and additions for a commercial/residential development, signage and landscape works. Projects include St James Church (which won the NSW AIA Greenway Award for Heritage 2011), Tasmanian Museum & Art Gallery, Taronga Zoo's Upper Entrance Building, Sydney Mechanics' School of Arts (Library Fitout), Campbell's Stores The Rocks, and 413 George Street (Signage).
