    Program Manager, Education Committee
Golestan Foundation Jun 2024 - Present
I currently volunteer at Golestan Foundation, where I apply my experience as a scientist and project manager to lead meaningful initiatives. Leveraging skills from "Google’s project management certificate" on Coursera, I manage a variety of responsibilities, including budget oversight, proposal development, donor reporting, and fundraising for education. I use Notion to streamline project workflows—defining tasks, setting up meetings, gathering and analyzing data for informed decisions—while collaborating with a team of 10+ dedicated volunteers. This role allows me to integrate my scientific expertise and project management skills to create a lasting impact on educational opportunities for underprivileged children.- I use "Notion" to manage all the project management aspects of this work. It is amazing and I love it!

    Family World Adventure
    Self-Employed Sep 2023 - Jun 2024
    Around The World
We embarked on an incredible 9-month journey with our toddler, traveling from US to Europe, then Iran, then through Southeast Asia, and finally experiencing the beauty of Oceania for the first time in Australia and New Zealand. Throughout this adventure, we explored 16 countries and more than 60 cities, meeting diverse people and savoring amazing food along the way. We hiked to stunning waterfalls of Bali(Indonesia), kayaked on the Tam Coc River in Ninh Binh(Vietnam), and rode tuk-tuks through the breathtaking landscapes of Cambodia while exploring the magnificent Angkor Wat. We marveled at the beautiful lanterns of Hoi An(Vietnam) and rode challenging motorbikes on a small island in Thailand. In Bali, we immersed ourselves in the rich culture and explored its numerous waterfalls and lush rice terraces. Our camping experience in Australia brought us face-to-face with wild kangaroos, and we were captivated by the glowworms in New Zealand. Finally, we swam in the crystal-clear waters of French Polynesia, which we now call heaven on earth, swimming alongside manta rays, eagle rays, and sharks among stunning coral gardens. This journey filled our hearts with unforgettable memories as a family.
