easyLi is an international specialist of advanced energy storage solutions for renewable energies and light electric vehicles. We develop and manufacture at our French headquarters Lithium batteries and complete energy solutions customized to the expectations required by our customers. We operate a unique electrochemical laboratory for characterization and quality control and develop our proprietary battery and energy management algorithms implemented in our BMS and EMS. We are the developer and manufacturer of Storelio, a full range of small and cost-effective plug-and-play solar energy self-consumption systems for residential applications

Uniross was a Saft spin-off specializing in the development of portable power solutions for OEM and retail markets. I managed the turnaround and the international development plan of the OEM Business Unit (annual sales of $30m). My customers included small high tech businesses as well as large industrial companies active in professional portable electronics, robotics, ambulatory medical devices, electric and hybrid vehicles and renewable energy systems.

Saft (www.saftbatteries.com) is a global corporation of €600m annual sales specializing in advanced battery systems for industrial, military and defense applications. I managed the international growth plan of the Saft's division in charge of designing, manufacturing and marketing battery systems for electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles. I signed major development and supply agreements with various European car makers including the first Lithium-ion battery systems ever installed into mass produced automobiles. Those successes contributed to the creation of a joint-venture between Saft and Johnson Controls, the world leader in automotive batteries, for which I played an instrumental role in the creation of a global Sales & Marketing organization from three different companies (Johnson Controls USA, Varta Germany, Saft France).

I defined and implemented the marketing turnaround and international business development strategy of the Portable Battery Group of Alcatel-Saft (€100m annual sales) before the company became independant through a LBO plan successfully conducted in 2003. I directly contributed to the successful launch of high value customized power system solutions and to the acquisition of new customers in Europe and North America including professional cordless power tools, personal transportation systems and medical devices accounts.
