About Filip Blagojevic
Ever since I was a nine-year-old kid, I knew with certainty that I wanted to be a lawyer, despite not having any relatives in the profession. Already by the time I was 20 and a second-year law student, I began representing parties - mostly friends and their parents - in various civil procedures (the legislation allowed it back then).Soon afterward, and all the while I was studying (hard), I began working with several lawyers, assisting them in commercial, sports, and even criminal cases. By the time I graduated in 2013 - within less than four years - I had already handled over 30 cases on my own and been partially involved in many others. My path in Sports Law began in 2012, representing footballers before the dispute resolution bodies of the Serbian FA (NDRC). After graduating, I gained valuable experience working with top international firms in Serbia and Germany. At Martens Rechtsanwälte, I sharpened my skills in CAS appeal procedures, BAT arbitrations, and the ex aequo et bono principle. In 2016, alongside starting BOPA with Vladimir, I had the privilege of serving as a teaching assistant at my alma mater. This is also the year I got married :)In my own sports practice, I’ve successfully represented clients in over 100 cases before FIFA, CAS, BAT, FIVB, CEV, and UEFA, conducting proceedings in both English and Spanish. Since 2017, I’ve served as an arbitrator, handling over 100 NDRC cases, as well as some commercial matters. From 2023, I’ve been an arbitrator for the European Handball Court of Arbitration. I also trained football and competed in boxing. Hopefully, I will* compete again :)
Listed skills include Litigation, Dispute Resolution, Arbitration, Contract Law, and 4 others.
