Reporting directly to the COO with a team of 4 managers I was responsible for 5 DCs in Brazil totaling 50 k orders per day, 200.000 m² and 2.000 employees with an annual budget of U$ 60 M, covering e-commerce operations, reverse logistics, B2B, wholesales and a full commerce provider (E-Hub ).Duties• Define Logistics role in the national S&OP and execution ensuring support to the company´s growth (area, staff and structure).• Elaborate and follow up of the logistics budgets, interacting with the C-Level to validate and adjust as needed.• Prospection, negotiation, and definition of contracts with transporters (freight) and other service providers.• Define and follow up of DCs KPIs and action plans, working with cross functional teams to solve conflicts and propose solutions that led to the stablished quality and efficiency goals.• Member of the General Managers Board, team that used to follow up Profit & Loss Statement reviews and discuss the company major KPIs, strategies, and initiatives. Accomplishments• Elaborated aggressive plans to improve efficiency and reduce costs (up to 20% reduction of the annual budget in the second year on position) with initiatives such as renegotiating renting, freight, and service contracts, making freight bill auditing and changing DCs process and procedures.• Key participant representing Cnova in an operational synergy study led by Accenture to optimize the group Casino supply chain, encompassing 4 of the major Brazilian retail brands which results in a 5 years’ integration plan with a potential of U$ 15 million savings. • Played a key role in the design of the new order fulfillment logistics system flow (WMS) achieving goal of 98% for order accuracy, order processing time, order fill rate and on-time delivery. • Development of new delivery models: click and collect, same day delivery, ship to store, ship from store and schedule delivery, according to customer expectations.

Reporting to the Director of Logistics with a team of 4 coordinators I had an overall management of 4 distribution centers in São Paulo area.Duties• Manage the day to day routine of 4 DCs in São Paulo area (inventory control, warehousing and order fulfillment activities and transportation).• Planning and execution of logistics projects such as the set-up of new distribution centers and quality and efficiency initiatives. Accomplishments• Created an operational model of high performance for Black Friday enabling the maintence of an aggressive sales strategy without compromising the customer delivery lead time.• Planned and executed a challenging relocation project, consolidating two heavy load DC in a single warehouse from the ground up. Spearheading efforts to move all assets and functions to new facilities in accordance with established project timeline and budget.• Implemented the operations of Nike.com and HP.com as a 3PL in E-hub (full commerce Cnova´s provider). Both became global references to their brands.• Structured the areas of logistics planning and quality ensuring efficiency (30% of reduction in the order fill lead time), and quality (certificate for Sox compliance requirements and implantation of auditing procedures improving quality of overall activities). • Assemble the Reverse Logistics DC consolidator to optimize returning process and reduce costs. • Actively participated in the planning and implementation of the first Regional DC in RJ. Designed the Warehouse layout and defined storage structure and equipment.

Duties• Ponto Frio´s responsible for supervising the 3PL (Penske) • Elaboration and presentation of KPIs and Reports to the General Manager and Logistics director.Accomplishments• Participated in the planning and implementation of PontoFrio.com first online DC operation in 2008.• Established and built company’s new logistics operation in 2009, successfully taking over from a third-party model (Penske) to an in house, reducing 30% of logistics costs.• Implemented logistics ERP/WMS and made several customizations to improve performance and quality.• I consolidated the operations of Extra.com and Ponto Frio.com after the acquisition of Globex by GPA in 2010.

Duties • Coordinated regular meetings and follow-ups with Top suppliers analyzing performance indicators, identifying problems and opportunities for improvement, proposing actions and accompanying execution.• Preparation and presentation of action plans and Suppliers scorecards to the Board of directors.Accomplishments• Developed and implemented Cross Docking and Just in time with white goods suppliers (Whirlpool, Electrolux and Groupe Seb) reducing 25% of stock• Accomplished a Delivery project optimization identifying and solving the gaps between stores, DCs and customers improving order fill rate in 8%.• Participated in the automatic replenishment store project for non-alimentary goods reducing store stock out to expected levels.• Made a study of distribution optimization where I identified several stock transfers between DCs causing over tributary taxes and inefficiency. Defined new procedures eliminating the identified anomalies.
