Over the last years I painfully realised that IT Security is a very complex topic. Often it is difficult to communicate the scope of certain vulnerabilities and their mitigation strategies to layman's and sometimes even IT professionals. I guess that’s the reason why many security consultancies don’t even try. But this is not my way!Hence, I finally started my own business: Bee SecurityOur goal is to aid organisations in understanding their current security level and to help them take the best next steps for their business. To do that we are providing security consulting services, including Penetration Testing, Security Workshops, Awareness and additionally I personally still love to give talks!

As an Information Security Auditor my primary role is to conduct technical security pentests. This involves testing the security of web and mobile applications and even whole networks. Hence, I know the techniques behind buzzwords like SQL Injection, CSRF, XXE, Pass the Hash, DLL Sideloading, Powersploit and many more… Additionally, I love to give talks and trainings of all kind. For example, I built a very successful end-user security awareness training and even had the pleasure to give talks at Austria’s most important IT security conferences.

Here at ToolsOnAir I'm the Lead Storage Engineer and Developer for the flow:rage Video Storage System. I'm responsible for the continued development of the software and hardware components and for planing and implementing our biggest installations. My expertise lies in Linux and OS X based server and client systems.

My role at Tools At Work focuses on architecting, implementing and supporting our local customer's IT infrastructure. That includes managing Cisco, ZyXEL and HP network components, sizing and maintaining Apple, HP and SuperMicro servers and configuring backup / archiving solutions of different vendors. Furthermore I developed several small applications and automated many time-consuming workflows for my customers.
