Junior Data Analyst - U.S. Local Market Share
CurrentDuring actual production:- Analysts receive confidential data from the clients assigned to them, for the U.S. Local Market on certain insurance product types, for a specific period.- Coordinates with the client and point persons in processing said data for value-added output as defined by ISS, modified with the output specifications if the client requests so.- Personal task: Currently responsible for updating two internal files to be used by the team, one for QA purposes, and the other is for a data standardization purpose.- Uses SQL and Excel capabilities to identify errors and investigate their sources. Also uses said capabilities for handling the actual processing of the client files and the internal files, as mentioned above.- Exposure to the use of the JIRA ticketing system (As an end-user; this is mainly used for task-tracking within our team)During the offcycle:- Follows a set of steps to manually check (and confirm through official websites) client data that appears questionable during the production cycle, but is not feasible to be closely examined during actual production.- Updates technical documentation in Confluence, for client-specific steps to take note of, for removal of obsolete processes, and for addition of any observations that can help future analysts with said task or client handled.
