Informix work includes ESQL development for a database of approximately 70 tables. Responsible for improving system response time for database queries, along with more efficient application record caching routines. ESQL code contained standard insert, update and deletes along with application dynamic statements using cursor selects and repairs. Developed an adjunct application that enabled the Managing Software to reduce network usage by downloading local event schedules to the client machines. Further enhanced the client software to significantly reduce network band width and more effectively report the state of the system.
