Curiosity is at my core, and it is something that has led me to the world of science and technology from my earliest days. I continue to find opportunity for meaningful change, specifically in healthcare and human performance as a natural extension from that.I've been an R&D scientist and digital & data leader at Amgen, a partner to executives at Fortune 50 companies and private equity firms at Deloitte and L.E.K. in their health technology aspirations, a start-up founder and entrepreneur, a non-profit board member for human rights and equity, and advisor to numerous venture-backed start-ups across clinical trials, technology, and patient experience. Now I am leading the creation of a new global company from Otsuka in service of how changes in health can be predicted, prevented, and more adequately managed in pursuit of healthier life for longer. A major component of this work involves collaborations and partnerships with organizations across the healthcare ecosystem with a focus on AI/ML, health tech, and data. Doing things the way they always have been done has little appeal to me. I prefer the path less (or not) taken. That's where the real excitement and potential impact resides.
