Joined the Smarthome Mobile Application team. Delivered multiple projects to deploy the application in multiple markets, augment the capabilities of the application, support new and existing Alexa and Smarthome devices:- All features required the coordination with 5 to 15 different teams spanning from Program Managers, UX Designers, multiple Development teams in and across organizations, QA, Customer Support...- Performed technical validation and architectural discussion on every feature delivered.- Delivered the migrated application from HTML to ReactNative in both iOS and Android and added the support for State & Control for all devices and integrating the support for the Echo Plus device. Application was delivered on time, on scope and on quality for the Echo Plus launch.- Acted as point of contact for all smarthome in the release process of the monthly major release of the mobile application.- Runned multiple projects to deliver point features (Delete Devices, Color Support, Unlock smart lock...) All features released on schedule, on scope and on quality.- Coordinated the international launch of the smarthome section of the mobile app into 3 markets and several upcoming.- Managed the projects to develop and integrate the Frustration Free Setup technology into 2 new devices (Alexa Microwave and Alexa SmartPlug). Coordinated the business requirement definition, development and convergence of the application with the firmware of the devices, SDK and mobile application core dependencies. Mobile Application has been delivered to beta customer according to the beta plan, with complete QA signoff.

Alexa Personalization Machine Learning (ML) Model Building:Enhanced & operated a Tier-1 production service to deliver Machine Learning models to different engines (ASR, NLU…) composing Alexa’s runtime through a 500% traffic increase and 16x reference model increase- Supervised the growth of the team from 4 to 12 engineers (hiring, mentoring, …)- Developed, enhanced & operated the different builders required to create all personalized ML models for current and upcoming features maintaining all latencies within seconds- Skill latency reduction by 75%- Storage optimization reduced storage needs by 90%- Supervised the addition of more than 20 personalized slots across different ML models (stakeholder communication, development planning and Dev team supervision)
