Frank D. is a Enterprise Services Innovation Lab at Portfolio Manager at Ibm. Colleagues describe him as "My longtime collaboration with Frank started in early 2005 when I joined the under construction Team dedicated to development of productivity tools he was setting up with members distributed across several european countries. Initial scope, just european projects, was soon extended to a WW dimension, where Frank as Productivity Tools Development manager successfully managed a constantly increasing number of being created applications by achieving excellent results in terms of portfolio management, application maintenance and systems steadiness. Our professional paths splitted afterwards for a while, when Frank took a similar role for Singapore development team to eventually rejoin few years later when he switched to the mission of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) program management in the Quote to Cash department, embracing in the meanwhile the Agile methodology. As a Blueprism developer, I've been collaborating with Frank to spread and promote Blueprism automation to IBM WW teams. Frank took care of environmental, strategy and capabilities introduction, describing and showing forecast and capabilities of RPA technology. I afterwards had the pleasure to meet Frank in person during a workshop in Madrid where our mission was enable local teams to work with RPA technology and at same time to implement automation solutions based on Blueprism technology with at least an agile first iteration. Here, again, Frank contribution was key element to both inspire the teams and show RPA capabilities and perspectives. As a senior application developer I have to recognize that the professional and inspirational input I got from Frank during these years of intense collaboration was tremendous. Frank has always featured - and thus implicitly teached to managed Team - passion and interest for all the missions he took responsibility for, always bringing a perfect and balanced mix of highly professional management skills, technical knowledge and IT strategy foresight, which always resulted in timely and reliable Team delivery through and quality assets. After so many years, my feedback to Frank is extremely positive. He was not only a skilled, constantly up to date proactive manager, but a true leading actor in my professional development.
