As head of the Transferwissenschaft Alliance, my goal is to achieve excellence in knowledge and technology transfer. To this end, I analyze technology transfer between science, business, politics, and society in the German innovation system together with my teams at Fraunhofer and TU Berlin. Together, we design transfer strategies and develop novel innovation methods and processes for high-impact research and a strong innovation system. Based on the results of our projects, I provide strategic advice to research organizations, companies, and policymakers.

As head of the Competence Center, my mission is to harness inputs from the innovation ecosystem for Fraunhofer's research to further strengthen its impact.I aim to use research and technology development to trigger innovations in the industry and the public sector, addressing major societal challenges. In this context, it is my responsibility to shape the strategic and economic development of the Fraunhofer-Society in line with current innovation policy and to establish new, approaches for collaborative innovation at Fraunhofer.

In doing so, I draw on approaches from social and economic sciences as well as methods from design research.
