Planning and executing installation of field instruments, Control System panels,Fire and Gas system and Telecommunications systems. This entails the preparation of basic design of the instrumentation and controls part of the projectCo-ordination with Project and client, subcontractors and/or suppliers Providing technical support to site engineers on technical query issues Coordination with client engineers on Instrumentation engineering issues Providing support in the Instrumentation area for procurement activities Identification of issues that impede project progress and reporting to Project Managers and Discipline Heads Contributing towards, maintaining and implementing both company and client HSE Management System objectives and procedures Providing site engineering support, as well as other inter-disciplinary support should the requirement arise (e.g. Inspection or Procurement technical support).Assimilating the evolution of new products and technology, and updating oneself on the latest international standards in terms of engineering design practices and their applications; Identifying new methodology of work process required for higher productivity. Complying with the applicable company procedures for the Engineering Department and the Instrumentation and Control Discipline.Detailed design activities including the field instruments, F&G systems (Detectors, VESDA System, INERGEN) and communication system with its installationDesigning and developing instrument document like instrument list ,layout drawings, cable schedules, hook-up drawings, logic diagrams, wiring data base and instrument i/o listReviews/comments on instrument engineering control systems like instrument location layout drawings, cable block diagram and cable schedule, control room layout drawings, control schematic diagram-control and logic diagram for control system equipment.Prepares and issues specifications and other construction documents.

Review construction plans with a view to achieving early and efficient client handoverDevelop discipline Commissioning Work Orders, Plans, documentation, Input into multi discipline commissioning Procedures and Handover documentation for early and efficient client acceptanceWitness's factory acceptance tests where requiredLiaise with, and manage interfaces with respective Operations personnel Plan and supervise the discipline on commissioning of new & modified equipment and any effected systemsAct as engineering vendor liaisonAdvise system priorities, to Construction Focal Point, with a view to early and efficient hand-overMonitor Commissioning work-in-progress, report against planComplete weekly / daily Platform ReportCo-ordinate and execute company Internal and Client Operations systemAdvise check sheet status and complete sheets where applicableAs Build any changes to documents / drawings made during Commissioning activities
