Graduated in Biology (University of Barcelona). My phD focused on cellular and molecular aspects of murine macrophages. In 1998 joined the Dept H&I of the National Blood Service in London as a post-doctoral fellow, working on Dendritic Cells. In 2002 moved back to Barcelona granted by the (FIS, Spanish Ministry of Health) and joined the Institut d’Investigació Germans Trias i Pujol (IGTP), leading my own research group. My group is interested in the study of therapeutic approaches in autoimmunity, transplantation and other immune disorders with special focus on Dendritic Cells and Microvesicles (Exosomes)
