Collaborations are the key foundation of a good research, not only shared knowledge is a benefit but also the often complementing instrumentation (as in this case).During my period at KU Leuven, rheometers became my best friends. The combination of measurements made with a capillary rheometer and a plate-plate rheometer enabled me to understand the behavior of my polymers during injection molding. And yes, injectiong molding was the primary focus of my work, again. I've performed a Design of Experiment plan on a Demag injection molding machine to relate the process parameters to the properties of obtained parts.

During my PhD, I spent a period at the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research in Dresden for sharpening my knowledge of injection molding and some related production techniques. The main goal of this scientific collaboration was to produce a specific nanocomposite material using injection molding and characterize the properties of the final product. Alongside, it was also possible for me to learn the basics of process simulation to analyze some injection molding scenario that were not available in the lab.

The main aim of the activities carried out at the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Oslo was to collect some data to develop my master's thesis. The primary topic consisted in analyzing the influence of liposomes on the diffusion of some active pharmaceutical ingredients in an aqueous phase.
