Associate ResearcherConsejo Nacional De Investigaciones Científicas Y Técnicas Apr 2004 - Jul 2015From 2002 to 2015 I was part of the scientific-technological career track at CONICET (the National Research Council of Argentina), first as a doctoral (2004-2008) and postdoctoral associate (2008-2010) and then as an assistant and finally associate researcher (2010-2015). During this time, I explored a wide range of research topics: climate variability and change in agriculture, socio-economic and land use changes in Argentinean agriculture, sustainability of farming systems and farmers’ decision making under uncertainty. My academic training and subsequent research work took place in the context of various multi-institutional, multidisciplinary and multinational projects supported by the US National Science Foundation. Early on, my contribution was mainly tied to research tasks, but later I began to take an increasingly active role on the projects’ management and the development of proposals for future funding. -
