The project aimed to investigate behavioural niche partitioning within the African carnivore guild in South Africa. In order to achieve this goal, I analysed a large camera trap dataset to study spatial and temporal interactions between carnivore species, prey species and anthropogenic sources. I gained experience in the use of software RStudio, ArcGIS and DigiKam.

The project aimed to compare advantages and disadvantages of macroscopic analysis and DNA metabarcoding in determining the diet of the Eurasian otter in Vejlerne (Denmark). To achieve this goal, I learnt to perform macroscopic analysis, DNA extraction and PCR on otter faecal samples and analyse the data with R and Mega software.

For my Erasmus I spent three months in Aalborg (Denmark). During the stay I attended lectures, participated in group activities together with Danish students and performed the analyses for my master's degree project.

The project aimed to investigate the effect of different wavelengths of light on the circadian clock of zebrafish larvae. During the project I was in charge of the experiment and gained experience in fish handling, tank maintenance and in the use of R, Microsoft Excel, El Temps and GraphPad Prism.
