As a Senior Buyer at Pequeño Mundo, I oversee multiple categories, including fresh, refrigerated, and frozen products. My primary responsibility is to ensure that these categories meet sales and profitability goals. This involves analyzing market trends, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and managing inventory levels.I work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure that we offer high-quality products at competitive prices.While overseeing multiple categories presents a new and significant challenge, I am excited about the opportunity to grow and contribute to the success of Pequeño Mundo.

I am responsible for conducting in-depth analysis on pricing strategies, market trends, and product allocation to make informed decisions that drive sales and profitability. This involves working closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure everything works appropriately. My new position requires me to take on more responsibility and make strategic decisions that impact the success of the retail store. I am excited for the opportunity to lead the category and to work on achieving objectives.

As a Junior Buyer at Pequeño Mundo, my role involves a range of responsibilities such as negotiating prices, tracking sales, evaluating products, scouting for new suppliers, and analyzing the market on a weekly basis. In this position, it is my responsibility to ensure that the store offers high-quality products at competitive prices, while also identifying new opportunities for growth and expansion. It is a challenging and rewarding role that requires me to constantly stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments.

During my internship at Pequeño Mundo, I worked in the fruits and vegetables category where I assisted in the procurement process, contributed to price negotiations with suppliers, and gained knowledge about sourcing and managing fresh produce. As a result of this experience, I developed an understanding of the retail industry and overall how it works.My time at Pequeño Mundo has been a valuable learning opportunity, and I am eager to continue expanding my knowledge in the field. I believe that the skills and knowledge gained in the internship will be valuable in the coming years.
