Hey there?! Thanks for stopping and giving this a look. Please call me Tony, it's a small variation of my middle name and is much easier to pronounce. I can't say I'm too big about talking about myself never been that kind of person, but I'll give it my best shot.I am originally from the panhandle of Texas growing up in both Lubbock and Amarillo and recently moved to San Antonio post Covid. I Joined the U.S Navy right after high school. I started my Professional career as an Electronics Technician where I developed my skills in the Electronics industry and learned how to apply attention to detail to whatever I may be working on. Later I was hired by SpaceX under the same title and grew my skills in both electronics and mechanical maintenance. Currently I am working at Vitesco Technologies where I expanded my knowledge in mechanical maintenance and systems to going back home to working with electronics. So, who am I? Would I fit in with your company? I am the the type of person that doesn't mind a challenge or gaining experience in learning new things. I try my best to face adversity with a smile and persevere until the end. If there is a problem, there must be a solution! I am able to blend in to any environment with just about anybody. I try to talk to everyone and make a good lasting impression wherever I go. I have thick skin and can handle course constructive criticism but I can also communicate with those with a more mild tone. Above all I am the one that tries to make everyone laugh and enjoy being around me. Food brings us together but laughter creates our bonds. Rest assured I do know how to enjoy good company while remaining productive to complete hectic timelines.Lastly, I love enjoying time with my family, old Navy friends, and new work friends. I love to travel and learn new things especially about where people come from or their personal journey. The library has many books that can teach you many things but our world has people filled with knowledge and wisdom ready to be passed down. So? Do I sound like a good fit? Send me a message or add me to your network! I look forward to hearing from you!

Test Equipment TechnicianVitesco Technologies Aug 2023 - PresentSeguin, TxMaintains optimum functionality in our production test equipment. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement of our production processes to include in-circuit test systems, functional/final test systems, x-ray, automated optical inspection, and other test systems. -
Equipment Maintenance TechnicianVitesco Technologies 2020 - Jan 2024Seguin, Texas, United StatesCurrently employed at Vitesco Technologies where we make a multitude of sensors, build ECU computers, and also make RADAR control units for our automotive partners. These units are made from circuit board component placement through, various stages of assembly, and finally software readiness for easy application for our automotive partners to put on their vehicles. My part in this process as an Electro Mechanical Tech is to maintain the machines that are used for assembling these individual units in a fast paced production setting. This being the beginning of multiple machines that place the above mentioned components, through ovens to adhere those components to the board and various vison processing to ensure the quality of this process. Further along the assembly line where each unit is cut from the panel and then built by stacking several units together or applying a shield assembly for structural integrity, and finally placed in their permanent outer housing. Each step of this process requires cutting machines, stack and press assemblies that place each part together, screw cells that attach lids to the outer housings, leak testers, beam and noise testing machines and finally etching machines to add labels part numbers and automotive partners that require the part. I also work with collaborative robots (COBOTs) that aid the operators in transferring of each unit down the assembly line for the next process. I update the firmware when available as well as work with the robotics team to replace parts and components on malfunctioning COBOTs, or simply reteach certain setpoints in the COBOTs program for accurate movements and placement of the units being handled. Some errors being as small as replacing small sensors or as large as replacing motors and controllers. Aside from this I also troubleshoot the pneumatic portion of the systems by changing and maintaining air cylinders, valves, and other components that are inline with supplied air. -
Electronics TechnicianSpacex Apr 2015 - 2020Mcgregor, Texas, United StatesAt SpaceX I worked on Ground Support Equipment that tested the incoming flight hardware for future flight operations and also the development of new flight hardware. I worked on PID loop circuits, Pneumatic systems with electronic sensing capabilities, Pressure and Heat sensors. I also continued to improve my workmanship in soldering techniques that met and exceeded NASA Aerospace harnessing procedures. I worked with Engineers in our development to make our process and reliability more efficient for future operations. While working with engineers I continued to develop in learning how to fill in the blanks with schematics due to our systems being one of a kind and not made for large scale production. This allowed me to build on my communication skills with peers to view and drive projects from concepts to real world application. From time to time I worked on In-flight systems that included everything from wiring fixing wiring issues on the flight vehicle, engines, GPS, batteries, installing and removing vehicle mechanical components, engines, jet packs, valves and lastly decontamination of those vehicles and components. Before leaving I was interested in learning PLC and Data control programs to further my skills and combine my knowledge of hardware applications to software applications. -
Electronics Technician/ MechanicUs Navy Aug 2008 - Jul 2013In the Navy working as an Electronics Technician, I gained experience in soldering components to circuit cards, doing preventative maintenance on multiple pieces of equipment including various sorts of RADARs, communications equipment, and some navigational equipment. I have also learned to assemble cable connectors for different pieces of equipment. With the above, I have also learned how to troubleshoot using schematic diagrams, and flow charts along with using proper test equipment to seek out any problems with a system. Preventive maintenance also played a heavy influence on my career in the Navy as I learned to follow written and verbal instruction to prevent system malfunctions. Through the process of doing maintenance I developed the skills needed to identify the attention needed for systems before reaching the adverse critical stage of malfunction and repair. This allowed me to keep systems running smoothly for efficient and effective mission readiness. Under careful supervision I learned soldering techniques for RF connections and circuit board component repairs.
