I am a graduate with a master's degree in biomedical engineering and have built a strong technical background in the field of biomechanics and biomaterials. During my master thesis project, I collaborated with Politecnico di Milano and Penn State University to evaluate thrombus adhesiveness in arteries from both a numerical and practical perspective.In addition to the classic biomedical engineering subjects such as Mathematical and Numerical Methods in Engineering, Endoprosthesis Design, and Biomechanical Constructions, I have also explored economic aspects through examinations of Management of Organizations and Projects.My professional journey began with a permanent position at LivaNova, where I worked as a Quality Engineer in the Cannulae and PTS (Perfusion Tubing System) department. As a Quality Engineer, I was responsible for ensuring that products met the required quality standards and specifications. My duties included developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections and audits, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues. Additionally, I played a key role in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.During my tenure at LivaNova, I created the PTS Academy, which significantly improved the onboarding process for new operators in the department and reduced the error rate during production. The PTS Academy provided comprehensive training programs and resources, enhancing the skills and knowledge of new employees and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Subsequently, I co-created Djinne. The Djinne project aims to revolutionize cultural tourism through the development of a multisided freemium platform that offers personalized digital travel guides. Through this platform, users receive detailed editorial content based on their specific interests, including links to podcasts, blogs, videos, and articles. The innovation lies in integrating local narratives, allowing residents to promote themselves and share their stories, thereby enriching the platform's database.Moreover, Djinne leverages advanced technologies such as generative writing via LLMs and ontology creation with GraphDB to develop personalized recommendations, considering the challenges of overtourism. The action includes collecting public data on cultural heritage and experimenting with editorial content that actively engages citizens and visitors in revising narratives and recommendation systems.
