Customer Experience Product Manager

At Cometa, we are increasing access to quality education in Mexico and LatAm with administrative and financial software for K12 schools. Cometa is backed by Kaszek, Homebrew, Reach Capital, Salkantay, 500 and Latitud.I joined Cometa to work with the co-founder and CPO in re-shaping the way of working of the team, bring clarity of the numbers and where the product stands. I´m here to provide my experience in what to prioritize, where to be scrappy and which are the long term investments to deliver more value for the company and the user as a whole.

Karvi is the first pre-owned car marketplace in Latin America offering its own vehicle inspection. It is an online platform that acts as an intermediary between the user and the concessionaire. It is free, and allows you to have a simple, comfortable, economical and transparent car buying experience with a presence in Brazil and Argentina.As part of the first employees that the startup had, I worked closely with the founders in setting the foundations of the marketplace from the product side, defining from the online experience to the operations model and metrics of each of the products. 5 Product Owners (CX, B2C, C2B and B2B), 3 designers and a UX research team reported directly to me in this role.

In the edge of product management and product owner:Processes definitions, SOP creations, CRM implementation, Data imports, Tecnical definitions, UX & UI definitions, Conversion Rate Optimization, Reports creation, data cleanining, UX writing, Processes improvements, QA, AB tests, Google Analytics, Google Optimize, scrum team coordination and thousands of other things like any other PM in the startup world.

• Reporting preparation & analysis.• Variations Analysis.• P&L Preparation at a business units level.• Indicators (OWC, ROS, DSO, DSI, DSP).• Quarterly Rolling Forecast (I&E, BS)

• Operative control of the results of the business unit• Variations Analysis. • Accounting models for new businesses • Cost and Margin analysis at a business unit level, sub unit and type of service.• Transaction analysis using SQL, Power BI, ACL & Microstrategy.

• Daily cordination of the team (6 members). • Reconciliations control under US-GAAP y SOX. • Process standarization and harmonizations. • Accounting for newly created processes. From 0 to 10. • Focal point of external audits (PwC) for US-GAAP and LOCAL-GAAP • Accounting SME for global financing. • Redesing and standarization of reporting.

• Reengineering of the processes related to the cost forecasting for all the countries in the region.• Consolidation, review and correction of the forecasts of the countries.• Forecast creation for the regional cost.• Actual vs Forecast analysis.• Cost recovery stategy.• Montlhy & Quarterly P&L forecasting.• Intracompany recoveries control.

LA Software Group Gross Profit Accounting Team Leader• Coordinación y control del personal a cargo. • Revisión y corrección de Conciliaciones respetando US-GAAP y SOX. • Estandarización y automatización de procesos de reconciliación de cuentas. • Encargado de relevamiento de procesos y su contabilización para una Unidad de negocio (Comercialización de SW & Services) . • Encargado de resolución de problemas específicos de análisis contables. • Focal Point contable de proyectos de armonización de estándares contables con iniciativa WW.• Consolidación de resultados a casa matriz (US). • Análisis de desvíos y variaciones de Revenue & Costs. • Coordinación de equipos de trabajo sin dependencia directa.• Nexo directo con áreas de Finanzas y Project Management.• Asesor y encargado de la implantación de nuevas tecnologías.

• Implementacion del modulo FICO para cliente interno. • Nexo entre el sector de Accounting y analistas WW de la implementacion / Consultores.• Analisis y relevamiento de procesos. • Testing E2E de migracion. • Data quality analysis & corrections.

• Coordinación y control del personal a cargo.• Revisión y corrección de Conciliaciones respetando US-GAAP y SOX.• Reporte a Casa Matriz de resultados mensuales.• Encargado de relevamiento de procesos de contabilización de gastos y su reingeniería a nivel Latinoamérica.• Focal Point de Contabilización de Impuestos Indirectos para Latinoamérica de habla hispana.• Encargado de resolución de problemas específicos de análisis contables.• Focal Point contable de proyectos de armonización de estándares contables con iniciativa WW.

• Conciliacion de cuentas contables de acuerdo a normas US GAAP y SOX.• Interpretacion, analisis y realización de ajustes contables.• Contabilizacion de gastos y provisiones.• Controles sobre procesos administrativos.• Armado de reportes para control de gestion.
