Profile bio

About Federico Bonelli

My expertise is creative research, a term without boundaries. I know how to put people around a table and design with technology while, at the same time, they are becoming a community. I am interested in developing talent, mentoring and consulting. Sometimes it involves walking in the woods blindfolded. My repertoire of experiences have led me to several EU funded research projects; a one-of-kind experimental project of generative digital art with Philips Research in 2005; and more recently I co-designed an open game: "Le Grand Jeu" (www.legrandjeu.net) that allows to try and discuss easily principles of next type of economies powered as well from Distributed Ledger Technology and principles of advanced social and sustainable technology. In study is its application to energy commons and to informed discussion about energy by the project EUROFUSION (with Max Plank Institute, opening may 2021).I am part of the IoT council organization for Internet of Things studies and consultancy and I have been frequently a speaker at conferences and workshop as an artist educator. I have been involved successfully in writing and managing parts of programs in European founded projects H2020, NGI, Culturability.Since 2012 I am running a laboratory for sustainable and off the grid performance research called trasformatorio (www.trasformatorio.net). Trasformatorio is a neologism for Art Laboratory and Tansformations. The activities of the lab are documented from www.trasformatorio.net. The methodological insight learned from the lab enriched the methodology "trasformatorio" on which I have written and published and presented internationally.I currently advise MAIIIM (Museum of the arts of the third millennium) in Genova on the matters relative to technological based and generative arts; moreover I am advising on NTF and digital unique production.

Listed skills include New Media, Film, Multimedia, Art, and 46 others.
