Since 2011 I have been Group Chief Financial Officer Italy at Aviapartner, a Belgian multinational specialising in ground handling services in the aviation sector, with headquarters in Brussels and a group of seven companies in Italy. Based in Fiumicino, Rome, I report directly to the CEO of Aviapartner Italy.My areas of responsibility include:Administration, Finance and Control (AFC): I am in charge of administration and debt collection, planning and control, including the preparation of the statutory and consolidated financial statements of the Aviapartner Italia group, and the implementation of pre-sales and post-sales actions to increase profitability.Extraordinary Finance: I am responsible in Italy for evaluating and implementing extraordinary finance (M&A) projects, managing banking relationships, negotiating financing and finding new sources of financing, and managing financing restructuring projects.Ordinary Finance: implementation of advanced treasury management systems, cash flow forecasts and follow-up actions, and working capital management.Insurance, Legal and Corporate Affari, Purchasing: I manage issues related to legal and corporate affari, legal and fiscal disputes, purchasing and negotiations, selection of suppliers and coordination of all relevant consultants. I am also in charge of managing and implementing the Italy Group's insurance policies and relations with the relevant brokers.IT: I am responsible for the coordination of IT infrastructures at country level Italy and the integration of processes.

I joined Consodata S.p.A., a company of the SEAT Pagine Gialle group operating in the media advertising, business information and IT sector, as Chief Financial Officer. I was based in Rome, reported directly to the CEO of Consodata and had hierarchical responsibility for 23 people.Responsibilities included supervising all financial, accounting and control aspects of Consodata and the group's subsidiaries. I defined strategic, operational and financial lines at the group level in support of the CEO and was responsible for the evaluation and control of new business, investments and cash flow. In addition, I supported the CEO in industrial relations and external communication, developed and implemented the planning and control process, evaluated and implemented M&A projects, was responsible for the statutory and consolidated financial statements, managed all financial issues with particular focus on cash flow analysis and working capital management, and was in charge of credit management activities. As the person responsible for defining pre-sales and post-sales financial strategies to increase profitability and cash flow, I was a member of the Management Committee of the Italian Group and supervised the reorganisation and restructuring process of the Consodata Group.Amongst my achievements, as M&A projects I managed the merger of the 'Marketing Intelligence' business unit and of of other Group companies, the setting up of the management control system, the reengineering of the reporting tools for the parent company, the reengineering of organisational processes, the setting up of the financial modelling and risk management system, the company reorganisation and restructuring plan of Consodata S.p.A, the transition from Italian GAAP to IAS GAAP, the management of projects to divest group subsidiaries, the optimisation and reduction of external 'core business' costs, and the optimisation of the efficiency and efficacy of operation-side processes.

•I took on the role of Business Planning & Finance Manager EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) at SITA (Societè International Telecomunication Aeronatiques), a telecommunications and IT company with 10,000 employees globally. Based in Rome and headquartered in Geneva, I reported directly to the CEO EMEA and functionally to the VP Finance EMEA. I managed a staff of 5 people, 2 of whom were in remote management.Responsibilities included supervising the administrative and accounting function, planning and controlling activities, budgeting and forecasting in accordance with group principles, and reporting at Corporate and Geografic level by Business Unit. I was also in charge of management control, analysing variances and preparing plans to achieve budget targets, analysing margins per project and managing credit management activities.I was also responsible for the project finance of complex projects in the IT and Telecom sectors, assessing financial feasibility and developing new business strategies in EMEA. I coordinated the Business Units during the preparation of business cases and feasibility studies, providing financial support during the contractual phase and maintaining regular contact with the CFOs of major clients, such as Alitalia, Sigma, Iberia, Middle East Airline, and others.Among my achievements, I contributed to the start-up of the EMEA geographic area, defining procedures and authorisation levels, budgets, staff recruitment, administrative management and reporting. I also carried out feasibility studies of various outsourcing projects, including Rojal Jordanian, Kuwait, Alitalia/Sigma, Emirates Airline, Saudi Arabia, Austrian Airlines and Sabena Airlines.

I held the position of Head of Planning and Control at Farlux-Fonderie S.p.A., a secondary aluminium production company based in Rome, part of the Farlux International S.A. Group, with plants in Taranto. The company had a turnover of around EUR 100 million and 120 employees. Reporting directly to the CEO, I was responsible for planning, controlling, reporting and budgeting at Fonderie S.p.A.In addition, I was in charge as project manager of potential joint ventures in foreign countries, and the acquisition of existing companies or the creation of new ones. This included the preparation of feasibility studies and business plans, as well as the managing the projects once implemented.Among my achievements, I contributed to the start-up of business processes and the implementation of planning and management control systems. I also analysed profit margins and carried out feasibility studies for the creation of joint ventures in Mediterranean and Eastern European countries.

I reached the position of Senior at Arthur Andersen S.p.A., an audit and consulting company. During this time, I worked on auditing and finance consultancy both in the financial and manufacturing sectors, focusing in particular on financial statement issues relating to civil law, fiscal, and management control.I have acquired in-depth expertise on International Accounting Standards (IAS/IFRS) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) through auditing the financial statements of companies that adopt these standards. In addition, I have assumed responsibility for supervising and coordinating teams, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgeted objectives.I also provided financial consultancy on specialised areas in response to precise requests from clients. Some of the main clients I have worked with include FIAT, Intercontinental, Repsol Polivar, Telecom Italia Group, Enel Group and Alenia Group.
