Responsible for managing a variety of Multi-asset balanced funds for both retail and institutional clients, including the ING Collect 'Personal Portfolios' as lead PM and the flagship ING Kronos funds as co-PM) for ING bank Belgium as well as few mandates for ING pension fund. Responsibilities include also commercial activities and product development. Heavily involved in developing quantitative fixed income signals (including quant infrastructure) to aid the view generation process, performing quantitative research on portfolio construction (e.g. risk estimation), and enhancing the selection of active and passive instruments.

Within this rotational program, I first undertook a 9-month rotation with the Multi-asset boutique, focused on developing new asset allocation strategies and algorithms targeted to all absolute return strategies. Later I moved to the Equity value boutique in Brussels for a 6-month rotation. Main tasks included research on factor exposures/risks, new portfolio construction tools and performance attribution for all high dividend funds managed.

I learnt to perform ad-hoc research on selected companies while working with Equity and Credit analysts and advanced VBA programming skills by working closely with the risk management team to improve the risk management system and devising optimal hedging strategies.
