Responsible for the commercial activities within the country and managing the P&L of the Business Portfolio

To manage and optimize the power generation fleet portfolio, maximizing the gross energy margin. To participate in the auctions for the supply of power to distributors and manage the sale of power to free Large Customers supplied through bilateral contracts. To manage and integrate all the activities related to Energy and Commodity Management at Country level.

To manage the trading of power and gas, including green and efficiency certificates, promoting, executing and managing the structuring of energy products in the energy markets; to define and implement the Commercial Strategy within a liberalized market.To define the hedging strategy to be implemented at local level in order to optimize revenues and costs; to analyze fundamentals and price dynamics of energy and commodity markets in order to exploit potential margin optimization through position management

To optimize the generation portfolio in the short term, proposing improvements to the short-term maintenance scheduling of power plants, the utilization of hydro storages and ancillary services markets trading activity; to control and update the margins coming from generation activity; to support risk management activities and to elaborate the energy margin forecasts, defining the fuel consumption needs.

To develop and update quantitative models in order to provide guidance for the pricing of commercial and trading products and to forecast clients consumption; to support operational control, regarding the control of economic transactions and administrative procedures
