IPSY is the largest beauty subscription in the world, with over 3 million monthly members, and thefirst brand to combine a rich community platform with a highly personalized commerce experience,with HQs in San Mateo, and teams in Santa Monica, New York City and Buenos Aires.As part of the DevOps team, we work closely with all engineering teams, providing services andprocesses to make their lives easier, some examples being Terraform code, Jenkins pipelines for CDand CI and provisioning of all the needed pieces to run the apps.The entire infrastructure runs in multiple AWS accounts, with multiple roles, on a very dynamic andever-changing infrastructure using auto scaling groups and Elastic Beanstalk, among various otherservices.

I was the Team Lead for the Devops team at Avenida.com. Involving several micro services, the architecture was running entirely on AWS with more than 200 servers for productive and non-productive environments. Daily tasks included high availability setups, automation, provisioning and release management, using different technologies in the cloud. My responsibilities also included leading the planning and reporting for our agile sprints, organizing the backlog and prioritizing tasks to meet the business objectives. Finally, I was also involved in the selection process for the team, and I was also responsible for career development, vacations and salary matters regarding my team.

Evolved from Level 1 to a Technical Lead role at the Cloud Computing Studio. I was a team member for 12 different projects, including on-site with the client and off-site at Globant offices.

I worked at this University as a part of the Computers Maintenance team and I was in charge of all the Windows systems (Installation, repairing, maintenance) that administration employees used. They were all mainly Windows 2000 and XP OS. Also my tasks included hardware repairing and assembling. Interesting job as a start :)
