With 23years of professional superyacht experience on private and charter vessels, I am currently seeking a position as either a full-time or rotational Captain on a 60 meter or plus yacht. Having global cruising experience and in-depth knowledge of many ports, I have sailed more than 150,000 NM , including an Atlantic crossing, Pacific and Indian crossing. Skilled in organising crew to deliver high quality and safe service to owners and guests, I am an effective communicator with an excellent track record of recruiting and retaining exceptional teams. As well as sound navigational skills and experience of challenging sailing conditions, I am able to efficiently manage administration, IT and budgeting, safety, and organise extensive refits. On my last employment we did 52 fantastic cruise all around the world and specially in the Pacific. I am experienced in working with VIP clients at all levels and have hosted guests for many prestigious events. I look forward to applying my vast experience and skills in a new role.

Initially on rotation with Captain Barletta Felice gaining experience in itinerary planning and maintaining accounts, I ultimately became the ship’s permanent Chief Mate. We attended the Monaco Grand Prix every year and in 2008 the yacht underwent a partial refit where I assisted in the installation of a Quantum stabilizer system ex novo. In 2010 I was responsible for a complete paint job in Lusben Shipyard in Viareggio. During winter I managed the subcontractors and bought materials for the deck.

Responsible for tender driving, I also gained experience manoeuvring the yacht, and was in charge of cartography and watch keeping as well as Mini ISM. We attended MIPIM in Cannes, the Monaco Grand Prix and Boat Show, and during the winters of 2003 and 2004, the yacht underwent a complete interior and deck refit in Cantiere Navale Riviera Shipyard. I assisted in restyling the mast, and redesigning the bridge console.
