CurrentI've worn Strategy, Insights and Finance hats at Riot, helping decision-makers make their toughest calls in the most player-focused way possible. Using a mix of consulting / strategy, finance and in-depth research and analysis to help my stakeholders understand what is best for our players and our company, some of my key contributions have included:- Pitching an increase of optional cosmetic content that was a revenue and sentiment win- Doing a deep dive on player spending over time, products, and other segments, leading to a better understanding of who is underserved and what products we should make next- Analyzing trends that will impact gaming over the long term, such as 5G, AR/VR, game streaming, and creating recommendations for Riot based on those- Serving all of the Strategic Finance needs for an org unit spanning 300 people and $400M in spend, including budgeting and forecasting this spend- Performing a holistic review of all corporate and support functions, identifying which areas need most investment and improvement- Creating management reporting around talent, workforce planning and D&I, enabling Riot to better plan for attrition, minimize disruption to operations, and track its execution of set goals- Turning around an under-performing team, which went on to deliver great value, generating trust and buy-in that let me double the team size- Building a strategic advisory team from just myself to a team of ten
