I am a preeminent practitioner in state and local property tax matters and redevelopment/eminent domain matters. My state tax practice includes tax planning, administrative hearings before the New Jersey Division of Taxation and New Jersey Tax Court litigation involving all New Jersey state taxes. My local property tax practice includes valuation analysis, settlement negotiations and litigation before the County Tax Boards and New Jersey Tax Court. My practice also includes tax incentive work for developers and eminent domain law. I have assisted numerous not for profit institutions when their local property tax exempt status has been challenged.I am widely recognized for my contributions to the legal profession and I have served as both President of the New Jersey State Bar Association and President of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation. I am a champion of providing and supporting pro bono legal services and was a founding member of Legal Services Foundation of Essex County and Volunteer Lawyers for Justice. I am dedicated to supporting women in the law and have been honored with numerous awards for my efforts in this area I stepped down as a partner of the firm in 2021 to serve as a Maryknoll Lay missioner and spent January and February of 2022 in Nairobi, Kenya with Maryknoll.
