At the beginning of my work life, I've been working as a bartender.It's not a job most people would feel proud of, but I would recommend it to everyone. It was a good job with decent pay that thought me the value of hard work and communication skills. Everything else I've learned on my own, as I went along, trying to navigate life. Books and video materials are my go to resources when I need to know anything. - Funny thing about books, and no one ever tells you this, - all the knowledge of the world is contained within them. Think about that.I don't pretend to know stuff, or that I'm a highly skilled person, I mostly just repeat what I've learned from people that are much more intelligent and skilled than I am, and it seems to be working fine for now.I was born in '96 but my life really started about a few years ago, in 2019. when I decided to take matters into our own hands and start accepting responsibility instead of handing out blame.My wife and I started K.B. STUDIOS. It's main goal was to help people present themselves, and their companies, in a professional manner, trough graphic design, photography, web, etc. This proved to be much more challenging than expected, but still is a very rewarding pursuit.In the 2021. we, along with our best friend Zvonimir, decided to try and get into real estate. And boy oh boy was that a ride, and still is. The goal was to start small, a duplex or fourplex, but we were lucky enough to find a 9 unit, apartment building.The "Zgrada" ("building" - even though it's a somewhat big, it's still a house) as we call it was in a bit of a rough shape so we decided to make something out of it, and we did. In the process we learned, and did a lot of interior design, carpentry, plumbing, etc. The building is currently at about 90% occupancy, and making decent returns.2022. was a year that our friend, and now real-estate partner, Zvonimir decided to join us at our entrepreneurial adventures, and so the three of us started a software development company.Nemean was created, and Zvonimir continued working the same job but know had the ability to operate freely, as well as invest into, and grow something larger than himself. My role in Nemean is one of an accountant, business developer and advisor, while my wife Korina runs marketing and design.This story, our story, still unfolds, and I can't wait to see what's next.
