About Felipe Gómez Lozada

Early career Colombian physicist part of the Ph.D. program in Computational Modeling and Simulation at the University of Pittsburgh. I am interested in both theoretical and computational research regarding emergent phenomena in many-body quantum systems, focusing on strongly correlated effects and their extrapolation to other areas of physics such as fluid mechanics. I have participated in multiple research projects in different fields including computational fluid dynamics, solid-state physics, and cold atoms, which have been presented at different international events. I have work experience ranging from tutoring local students to physical modeling in cinematographic production and research internships at two different international academic institutes.
