I am currently a manager at Pratt & Whitney, a United Technologies Corporation company, responsible for management and technical direction of structures group supporting development of advanced jet engines for commercial & military aircraft. One of my responsibilities is to ensure that the discipline resources are applied in most effective manner to support customers.I started at Pratt & Whitney as a staff engineer, conducting structures analysis (LCF, HCF, strength, deflection, vibrations, etc.) to design, certify jet engines and provide production support. My last role has been a static structures lead for compression systems.Before I joined Pratt & Whitney, I was a postdoctoral research fellow at Georgia Institute Technology. I led the research projects in additive manufacturing, developing advanced manufacturing process for micro-optics, micro-fluidics, and medical devices. I founded a high-tech company with my colleagues to commercialize the technologies and served as the chief technology officer. I hold a U.S. patent in additive manufacturing.
