I am a Production Engineer with eighteen years of industry experience in Petroleum Engineering. This incudes Canada with some other International projects. In addition to Production Engineer roles in both conventional and unconventional oil and gas fields, I also have experience in Completion and Reservoir Engineering. I have worked with multi-national companies such as Shell, BG, PetroChina as well as Persta, a small company.I am a registered Engineer in APEGA and have a M.Sc. Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Petroleum in Beijing, China.My strengths include production system optimization and troubleshooting, artificial lift selection, well completion/workover/hydraulic fracturing design and execution, pre/post hydraulic fracturing evaluation, well testing design and execution, well start up, and post-stimulated well clean up. Additional strengths include project management and cost control. I have utilized problem solving and analytical skills that has saved the company more than seven million dollars a year by strategically changing artificial lift methods for producing wells. I am also recognized as a problem solver in other fields that has consistently resolved problems at critical conditions which has saved companies millions of dollars.My experience includes managing and working within multi-discipline teams. I especially enjoy mentoring, coaching and working with junior personnel.
