Fei Wang is an architect, educator, entrepreneur, writer and curator.He is currently teaching at Syracuse University, where he is Director of China Programs and Coordinator of Master of Science in Architecture, Design | Energy | Futures Program. He has previously taught at University of Michigan, University of Hong Kong, Tongji University, North Carolina State University, the Architectural Association, China Academy of Art, Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Shanghai Jiaotong University, and Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology.He is the Co-founder of the un-conventional award-winning URSIDE HOTEL in Shanghai, China. He is also a founding partner of Atelier Ten+ (SH) and Ten Design & Research Center (NY/SH) and has previously practiced architecture in China, USA and Canada. His work has been recognized with numerous research and design awards. His design and research projects have been exhibited in China, Germany, Italy, USA and Canada, including Shenzhen Urbanism & Architecture Biennale, Venice Architecture Biennale, Seoul Biennale of architecture and Urbanism, Shanghai Art Museum, Universität der Künste Berlin, Aedes Galerie in Berlin, Beijing Design Week, among others.He has lectured at numerous design and art institutions, including Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam, SALT Istanbul, Cincinnati Art Museum, Harvard University, Princeton University, University of Michigan, Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, University of Hong Kong, B.A.S.E. Beijing, RISD, UNCC, South China University, Nanjing University, Southeast University, and Tongji University. His writings appear in Time+Architecture, Domus, Mark, Urban Flux, Urbanism Architecture, Thresholds, AREA, Interior Design, Interior Designer, among others. He is the columnist of “Critique” of Time+Architecture. He was guest editor of "Section" and “Techtonics Theory in Contemporary China” of Time+Architecture in 2010, and co-editor of "Architecture as It Is" of Urban Flux in 2011. His books include "Inter-Views: Trends of Architectural and Urbanism Institutions in North America and Europe" published by China Building Press in 2010, "Poetics of Construction" published by Tongji University Press in 2014, and “Architecture and Beyond: Unconventional Practice by Chinese Architects” a special issue of Japanese journal a+u in 2024.
