My team is responsible for a few services, including the critical and heavily used company's Reference Data Service, subscription to international Railcards in the EU, and integration with some UK CoachProviders. I was responsible for the design and development of a new version of the Reference Data, breaking it down into minor services, and adding support for gRPC communication while keeping compatibility with the existing APIs. It is on its path to being one of the first few services to run in Containers in the company, reducing costs.

Part of the team who created the platform for running services in containers with AWS Kubernetes, AWS KMS, encryption at rest, Kong, New Relic observability, logs ,alerts, distributed tracing, dashboards, etc.Helped pave the way into breaking the large application into smaller and more manageable services, migrating them to .NET Core, having developed the first C# standalone microservice. Set up CI, CD, and Continuous Deployment for new services, using Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipelines having them saved as Pipelines as Code.
