While being mindful of systematic inequalities that contribute to a lack of digital access, digital literacy and literacy skill.- Supported residents with preparing for interviews by performing mock interviews and working with residents on how to answer interview questions.- Responded to resident requests for employment support from multiple avenues (phone, email, website, CAMS referrals, Event Referrals, Applications and Referrals, and Drop Ins) to keep barriers to accessing employment support as low as possible.- Consistently ran weekly Employment drop-in sessions where residents were able to access low barrier employment support which includes support with job search documents, career exploration, training and education opportunities and referrals to more intensive support services as needed.- Shared information with residents about the application process for Better Jobs Ontario (formerly Second Career); assessed applicant suitability, assisted residents with preparing and submitting applications to the Ministry of Labour Training and Skills Development.see more in part 2 Show less
