Responsible for setting the strategic direction for the City’s communications efforts, through the effective use of media relations, social media, corporate marketing and branding, and also responsible for ensuring effective customer service and public education occurs through the Office of Public Engagement and 311. The Director of Customer Service and Communications is also responsible for ensuring the City meets its obligations under the City of Winnipeg Charter for French language services.

In this position, I am responsible for developing strategy and implementing all aspects of Winnipeg Airports Authority’s community relations, media relations and corporate communication programs. I am responsible for all internal and external communication releases related to WAA and Winnipeg Richardson International Airport. I also manage the departmental staff member and the departmental budget.
