I am blessed to have been a military spouse for 20 years, traveling much of the world. I experienced different cultures and I learned to work with others from varied backgrounds. My involvement in many different community activities has given me a wide range of experience due to the numerous roles I took on. If I see a need present, I will assess what can be done to fill that need, and commit myself to completing the project. I want to make whatever organization I am involved with its most productive, and I do so by sharing my organizational and leadership skills, and collaborating with others. While most around me are amused at my joy in organizing, they’re more than happy to allow me the chance to do it, and I'm delighted that others benefit from my skills. I practice servant leadership. I believe that in providing the best resources possible to do one’s job, the work environment will be the most productive. Tasks should be completed on time and be of the highest quality. I do not expect others to reach for levels of excellence that I do not expect of myself. I collaborate with others to make things better because that’s the world I want to live in. I want to do my best for others because I believe it makes them want to do better, and this makes any business/environment the best it can be.
