Dr. Feliciano Serrano serves members of the Los Angeles Community by providing medical care and expertise in the area of nephrology and vascular intervention. Among his services, Dr. Feliciano Serrano offers fistula and graft care; thrombectomy of dialysis access; peritoneal dialysis catheter placement and removal; coiling and embolization of access and peripheral; ultrasounds of kidneys, arteries, and veins; and, therapy for swollen arms and legs, and more. Respected in his field, Dr. Feliciano Serrano has already contributed much during his short career. In 2006, for example, Dr. Feliciano Serrano lectured on the mortality in renal disease caused by thrombosis and contributed an article on the influence of preparative procedures on assay platelet function and the apparent effects on antiplatelet agents to the American Journal of Cardiology’s July 2007 edition. Dr. Feliciano Serrano also gave a presentation on the West Nile Virus at the San Francisco Internal Medicine Conference and authored other articles, including one on oxidative stress on leukocytes and its impact on chronic renal failure and hypertension. Raised to believe in his power to help others, Dr. Feliciano Serrano has spent time volunteering in his community and beyond. Dr. Feliciano Serrano’s past endeavors included resolving ethical dilemmas involving medical students while serving on the Keck School of Medicine’s Student Ethics Committee, providing medical care and advice to homeless patients at St Joseph’s Hospital Center, and assisting in triage with Spanish-to-English translation in the Emergency Department at the Los Angeles County (LAC)+USC Healthcare Network.Specialties: Nephrology and Vascular Intervention
