Felicia worked with Impero Software as the director of marketing for the United States. Impero is a UK based global company providing sophisticated education technology software products to schools in over 70 countries. Until 2018, Felicia was the only Impero employee based in the US, working remotely with the UK team, and US subcontracted sales reps. Felicia wore many hats in her role at Impero, but primarily managed all aspects of marketing includingmarket research, content marketing management, product development, partnership and business development, and project management.Roles and responsibilities:Marketing management• Continuously educate Impero's UK based sales and marketing team on the US education system, trends, news, laws, funding, and culture• Develop and manage all marketing messaging, key selling points, and differentiators to build the Impero brand in the United States. • Author and edit all content for website, blog, social media, print collateral, email campaigns, sales messaging, media articles, research reports, whitepapers• Create, execute and manage marketing plan informed by market research, competitor trends, sales team input• Manage public relations and media relations• Event management including researching potential event and sponsorship opportunities, vetting, hiring and managing booth vendors• Maintain balanced budget, inform budget decisions Product development & project management• Initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing multiple long term projects by managing internal team, external contributors, and stakeholders, determining best resources, while staying within scope, cost, quality and deadline goalsPartnership and business development• Initiate, develop and maintain partnerships with nonprofit organizations, customers, schools, and industry partners as to inform software development.
