As Chief Executive of the Palestine Exploration Fund I am responsible for ensuring that the directives of the Board of Trustees are carried out, and I work closely with the Trustees to do so. I also run the office, manage the lecture series and other events, update the website, answer emails and queries, and work with researchers. As Curator, I have overall responsibility for the diverse and extensive collections of the Palestine Exploration Fund. I manage a busy team of volunteers to catalogue, digitise re-house, and re-organise everything from photographs to paleolithic flints. I manage any loans of material to exhibitions the PEF Trustees agree to, and where available supply digital material for researchers and publishers. I also publish my own research, sometimes in collaboration with other scholars, and give lectures on the history of the PEF, the development of archaeology, and related subjects.

Curator of the PEF's unique collections, running the volunteer program, imaging and digitization projects, publication of books and articles, public lectures on aspects of the collections and archaeological history of the Levant.
