My professional experience has been in three main areas:1) Communication and marketing for education, community development and the arts2) Event management and community cultural development for education, arts, community organisations and business.3) Printing and publishing industries undertaking design for digital and print, project management and customer service.I have worked in commercial businesses, not-for-profit community organisations, schools and run my own small business. The past fifteen years has been one of great change in communications and I have grown my skills to embrace new technologies and marketing channels to benefit Catherine McAuley College. I commenced with a task-based, part-time role but grew the role to become a full time in 2012 with strategic responsibilities, working in a self-directed way in partnership with leadership and other staff across the two campuses. At Golden City Support Services, as CreateAbility Coordinator in a part-time role over four years, I managed high quality arts workshop and event programs for people with disability, successfully gaining funding to expand the number and range of offerings during that period. In my early career I worked in the traditional print industry and re-trained to take on the evolving desktop publishing industry and website building/content management expectations of the digital publishing era.I particularly enjoy the challenge of working to the vision and core values of each organisation I have worked with. I find it exciting to engage with the passions of staff, students and event participants and communicating their achievements and successes within and beyond the community.
