Having previously worked as a solicitor then lecturer, my current role as a professional support lawyer in the commercial team combines skills. I support colleagues by developing training programmes, disseminating know how, researching technical points and acting as a sounding board. As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, I believe in nurturing talent to help juniors gain confidence and become commercially focussed lawyers providing pragmatic, easy to understand advice.
